An elves had an unusual habit - in their songs, to hail often a nature beauties, such as forests, rivers etc. In this case, song hails the river Silverlode, which ran from the Misty Mountains, with source close to Moria entrance and pouring into Anduina later. Her dwarvish name, Kibil-nâla, is not well known, while sindarin version, Celebrant , most people remembers better.
